You'll be joining a well-established manufacturing site with a strong engineering team, good support from management and a culture where people are trusted to get on with the job. Salary: £51,431.90 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Option to buy an additional 5 days leave Annual site bonus paid in November Annual salary review every April Matched pension contributions up to 10% Free on-site parking The Role As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring the site continues to operate efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Planned preventative maintenance Electrical and mechanical fault finding Breakdown response and repair Supporting continuous improvement projects Working closely with production teams to maximise reliability and performance Maintaining high standards of safety and engineering practice You'll work a rotating shift pattern covering Earlies, Afters and Nights. What We're Looking For Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification Electrical or mechanical engineering background Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or similar environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability PLC experience would be advantageous A proactive engineer who takes pride in doing things properly Why Consider It?
