About the role

We are a fast-growing, Vienna-based AI SaaS startup building the future of customer communication. With a lean team and strong angel backing (Series A/B range), we're hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to build and run our end-to-end recruiting function from the ground up. You'll work closely with the Recruiting Lead and C-level, owning everything from sourcing and process design to employer branding and offer negotiation - with high autonomy and real impact on how the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with hiring managers to define clear, actionable role requirements.
  • Fill candidate pipelines through active sourcing and strategic channel activation.
  • Conduct efficient pre-screening and screening calls that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate all stages of the hiring process to ensure smooth, timely progress.
  • Negotiate employment contracts through to successful offer closure.
  • Design and implement lean, scalable recruiting strategies and operational structures.
  • Build low-overhead administrative hiring processes and configure recruiting tools/platforms.
  • Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate external partners (payroll providers, notaries, tax advisors) within recruiting workflows.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities as part of the full employee lifecycle.
  • Establish HR foundations - processes, tools, and team events - in close collaboration with leadership.
  • Own the recruiting function end-to-end, operating with fast decision-making and full accountability.

Requirements

  • Must-haves (dealbreakers):
  • 5+ years of hands-on Talent Acquisition experience building and delivering end-to-end recruiting processes.
  • Proven experience negotiating employment contracts and successfully closing offers with candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement lean, scalable recruiting processes from scratch, measured by hard metrics.
  • Required:
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and optimising recruiting platforms and software for daily use.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to define, track, and report KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, conversion rates, pipeline efficiency).
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment across diverse roles - from sourcing through to offer and closure.
  • Strong ability to pitch roles and companies convincingly to secure top-tier candidates.
  • Skill in quickly filtering large applicant pools for both substantive fit and cultural alignment.
  • Experience coordinating external partners (payroll, notary, tax advisory) as part of recruiting workflows.
  • Ability to support onboarding and offboarding processes as part of the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Experience developing and executing employer branding strategies in a recruiting context.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and modern workflows applied to recruitment.
  • Language: German proficiency is required for this role.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 annually (gross), depending on experience.
  • High-autonomy role with direct influence on company growth and culture.
  • Opportunity to build the recruiting function from zero in a fast-moving AI startup environment.
  • Location
  • On-site in Vienna, Austria.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
