Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Financial Reporting & Controls team is responsible for providing accurate financials, building our financial infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and make an immediate impact at a rapidly growing company. In this Accountant role, you will be an integral part of the accounting function at Miro and will be reporting to the Accounting Manager (based in our Yerevan hub)

Responsibilities

• Month-end-close tasks including preparation of journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting, in both Armenian Software and NetSuite
• Record cash transfers and conduct bank reconciliations and other supporting schedules
• Help organize and maintain company's accounting records and documents
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Complete ad-hoc projects and reports

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Armenian accounting, Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong experience with ArmSoft is mandatory
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with NetSuite and working in an international company is a plus
• English fluency required
