General Characteristics (Job Summary) Responsible for planning and controlling quality activities in given particular disciplines in accordance with quality management system established by QC Supervisor / Manager. Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP and managing Matrix). Control NCRs (Non-Conformance Report) to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. Performing and coordinating inspection with client. Carry out QC Supervisor's responsibility in their absence. Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team. Review and track material submittals required for Civil Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Civil Definable Features of Work. Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted. Monitor and inspect specific Civil related activities such as Compressive Strength Test, Soil Compaction, on site-off site laboratory test if required. Education and Experience Inspector shall be a High School graduate, or higher; shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications; and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision. Overall Experience of 5 years. Experience in Inspection Specialty : 3 years Experience in Contract Scope of Work : 2 years Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of recognized building codes such as the International Building Code (IBC-2009 and ACI 530.1-08) or equivalent standards. As applicable for the WORK, the candidate shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in construction techniques with emphasis on soil mechanics, foundations, retaining walls, structural steel, masonry, building interiors, building finishes, roof systems, and asphalt. Knowledge Technical knowledge in particular discipline and familiar with related international codes and standards. Investigate and analyze quality issues based on related international codes and standards so that suggesting resolution. Skills to establish process and system to utilize FMCS and SCMS enabling systematic quality control and conduct training for its operating. Capability of quality system establishment and implement.
