POSITION SUMMARY: To provide on-call crisis intervention services to patients in the Emergency Department, which includes screening, crisis intervention counseling, discharge planning, and pre-certification for admissions. Also, to function as a member of the professional healthcare delivery team as needed. EDUCATION: Master's degree in social work from an accredited program with at least 1 year of psychiatric crisis experience OR master's degree in education, psychology, or related field with certification as a Crisis Intervention Screener or at least 2 years of psychiatry
