About the role

This Full-Time position is a unique opportunity to serve our residents as an Certified Nursing Assistant-STNA Scheduler while also assisting with the process of scheduling other Certified Nursing Assistant-STNA's. You will work in a vibrant neighborhood community of homes where our elders determine much of how their day is spent. You will experience a much more intimate relationship with these residents than you would in a traditional nursing home or other clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the other Certified Nursing Assistant-STNA's in the house and the Coach to complete appropriate Certified Nursing Assistant-STNA Scheduler tasks during worked shifts.
  • Compile schedules from each Scheduling Coordinator and upload into the Master Schedule in Schedule Pop.
  • In conjunction with the Coach, insure that all shifts are filled in a timely manner.
  • Respond to call-offs or other schedule changes 24 hours a day, Monday-Friday and every other weekend when scheduled to work; reasonable response time is expected
  • Coach or other member of Leadership Team will be responsible for scheduling issues during weekends you are not scheduled to work or are on PTO or approved leave.
  • Utilize Schedule Pop and personal communications by phone, email, text as needed to fill open shifts; if unable to fill shift(s) then contact the Coach for assistance.
  • Collaborate with Coach to ensure staffing roster is kept current and time records are accurate
  • Train new Scheduling Coordinators; resource for Scheduling Coordinator.
  • Track and report any time worked outside of your clocked time to respond to and address

Requirements

  • Must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant-STNA certification
  • Strong verbal communication, email and text skills
  • Organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with a variety of partners
  • Experience: Experience as a Scheduling Coordinator a plus, experience with using scheduling software such as Schedule Pop a plus
