We are seeking experienced Case Manager's to join our Workers' Compensation Nominal Insurer team, managing a tail portfolio. As a Case Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing complex, long duration claims, delivering a high quality and empathetic experience for injured workers, and working closely with employers and service providers to support safe and sustainable recovery and return to work outcomes. Your new role Manage a tail portfolio of workers' compensation claims within the Nominal Insurer scheme, focusing on long duration and complex claims. Apply your knowledge of legislation and guidelines to coordinate treatment and progress claims toward resolution. Develop and drive proactive claim strategies that support injured worker recovery, while identifying appropriate pathways for progression, transition, or resolution. Collaborate with injured workers, employers, treating practitioners, and rehabilitation providers to support recovery and return to work outcomes. Maintain accurate and compliant claim documentation in line with regulatory and audit requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and outcomes within tail claims management. About you Previous experience in workers' compensation claims management, with exposure to tail or complex claims portfolios Strong understanding of workers' compensation legislation and statutory claims processes. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate clearly both written and verbally. A customer focused mindset, balancing empathy with progression and resolution of long duration claims. Demonstrated resilience, critical thinking, and sound judgement when managing complex or sensitive cases. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
