Requirements

The Sr. Maintenance Robotics Engineer for the Automotive Paint Shop is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment within the paint shop. This role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to uphold production quality and minimize downtime. You Will: Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, including ovens, conveyors, robots, pumps, and ventilation units. Address equipment breakdowns promptly minimize production disruption Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Support the maintenance team during emergency breakdowns and critical system failures Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new paint shop equipment and mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and safety standards Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records, including logs, equipment history, downtime analysis, and spare parts usage. Prepare daily and monthly reports for mechanical maintenance activities Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve energy efficiency and safety within the paint shop Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and OEM guidelines. Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety audits Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, electrical, utilities, and automation teams to ensure smooth operation of the paint shop. Provide technical support and training to technicians as needed\ Key Equipment Handled: Conveyor systems (Skillet, EMS, Chain, and Belt conveyors) Paint circulation systems (pumps, filters, heat exchangers) Curing ovens and flash-off zones Spray booths and air handling units Robots (painting, sealer application, handling) Mix rooms, dosing systems, and fluid transfer systems Compressed air and chilled water systems Waste water treatment and dry booth systems You Bring:
