About the role

As a key member of MASH HQ, you'll act as the strategic bridge between our clients, our embedded teams, and our internal leadership. You'll work closely with the Managing Director, Talent Director, and CFO to ensure our teams are not just delivering well, but delivering work that is more strategic, more connected, and more valuable to the client over time. This role is part client partner, part delivery leader, part growth driver, and part mentor. You'll help shape senior client conversations, elevate the quality of output across embedded teams, spot commercial opportunities, and strengthen the way we run accounts from both a talent and operational perspective. We are looking for someone who is proactive by nature - someone who instinctively asks better questions, goes deeper, joins the dots, and brings back smarter answers to all parties involved: clients, talent and the business. Client Strategy, Partnership & Account Growth Act as the primary HQ point of contact across key client relationships, ensuring strong communication from briefing and scoping through to delivery, reporting, and renewal conversations. Lead and support senior client conversations, MBRs (MASH Quarterly Reviews), and strategic reviews, connecting our work back to wider brand, marketing, operational, and business priorities. Translate client needs into clear direction for internal teams, managing expectations, trade-offs, and scope with confidence and commercial awareness. Identify and help drive growth opportunities across existing and adjacent accounts, spotting where MASH can add more value through stronger thinking, broader scope, or new capability. Partner with leadership to shape tailored, talent-first solutions that respond to evolving client needs across capability, capacity, quality, and structure. Delivery Oversight, Team Excellence & Mentorship Act as the connective tissue between MASH HQ and our embedded teams, ensuring they feel supported, challenged, and clear on what great looks like. Elevate the quality of delivery by guiding teams on briefs, priorities, stakeholder management, and overall output standards. Provide agency-level support and mentorship across client programmes, helping teams strengthen commercial thinking, stakeholder confidence, and operational excellence. Run regular account and team health checks, surfacing risks early across morale, workload, performance, client satisfaction, and delivery quality. Support development and progression conversations across teams, helping MASHERS grow in confidence, capability, and long-term value within the model. Commercial, Operational & Strategic Leadership Keep a close eye on account budgets, trackers, scopes, and resource movements to ensure delivery stays aligned, risks are surfaced early, and the right stakeholders are looped in when adjustments are needed. Establish and track account-level KPIs and success measures, using data and reporting to highlight wins, flag issues, and strengthen decision-making. Help refine how we run accounts across staffing, workflow visibility, resource planning, governance, and delivery consistency. Support the systematisation of MASH's model through stronger playbooks, structures, tools, and scalable ways of working. Champion the use of technology and AI where it can improve workflow automation, forecasting, recruitment, resource planning, and performance visibility across accounts. About You You have strong experience in senior client leadership, delivery leadership, or client services roles - for example, as an Account Director, Client Services Director, Delivery Lead, or in a similar senior agency/consultancy position. You have a proven track record of growing accounts through building trusted client relationships, spotting opportunities, shaping solutions, and helping move commercial conversations forward. You understand what high-quality agency delivery looks like and know how to support teams to raise the level of strategic output. You're naturally proactive and commercially curious - you look for gaps and seek to solve challenges by asking better questions and connecting the dots. You have a strong instinct for client excellence, talent excellence, and operational excellence, and know how to bring all three together in a way that lifts both relationships and results. You're a hustler in the best sense: resourceful, sharp, hands-on, and always looking for ways to make the work, the team, and the account stronger by building and maintaining supportive processes and frameworks.
