*** This position is contingent upon contract award *** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Electrician to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. Essential Job Duties Must be thoroughly familiar with electrical maintenance of equipment. A record of safe practices and working knowledge of safety standards for electrical equipment maintenance and repair. Experience in battery maintenance and installation. Must have held a supervisory position for (2) two years. Must be able to read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints. Must possess leadership skills. Must possess the skills and attitudes to effectively communicate with the customer and subordinates. Minimum Requirements Active in scope Secret security clearance. High school graduate or GED equivalent or technical, vocational or trade school graduate for the electrical trade. Certification as Master Electrician. Appropriate state and local licenses. Eight (8) years of experience in electrical trade in maintenance or construction. Work Environment Must reside at an overseas location. Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions. Wearing of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
