Responsibilities
- Support senior team members on deals from end to end: origination, structuring, execution and distribution/syndication of securitised products and asset backed financing.
- Increasingly manage client relationships and contribute to cross sell activities for the bank.
- Analyse, structure and perform due diligence on transactions that vary in complexity.
- Prepare and/or review term sheets, transaction documents, presentation and marketing materials and internal communications.
- Analyse transactions and recommend appropriate courses of action, prepare and present credit submissions.
- Build effective relationships and influence key internal stakeholders and external parties, such as legal counsel, rating agencies, advisers, trustees and regulators.
- Develop, maintain and use complex cash flow models related to securitisation transactions and/or asset backed finance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, guidelines and internal policies.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial spirit with 2+ years of securitisation / structured credit / asset backed finance experience with a demonstrable track record of successful deal execution.
- Strong credit, structuring and execution skills, combined with commercial acumen.
- Broad exposure to traditional securitised / structured products - ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, CLNs, Re-packs, Synthetics/SRTs, Trade Finance securitisations.
- Exposure to more esoteric securitisation asset classes e.g. Data Centres and BNPL is desirable.
- Experience with cross-border transactions and exposure to emerging markets e.g. Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Familiarity with key legal and regulatory considerations; accounting and tax issues; and hedging techniques relevant to securitisation.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory capital rules and rating agency methodologies.
- Independent, self-motivated, results focused, team player with strong learning ability.
- Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines in a dynamic, global and regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, resilient and highly adaptable to changes.
- Post graduate qualifications will be viewed favourably e.g. MBA / Masters / CFA.
- CFMAS license is required
