About the role
Title: Quantity Surveyor (Office Renovation) JOBSCOPE 1. Pre- & Post-Contract Duties Perform full spectrum of Quantity Surveyor responsibilities including: Taking off quantities from drawings Preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ) Evaluating and managing variations (VO) Finalization of project costs Contract administration and documentation 2. Tender & Sales Support Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and tender bids for office renovation projects Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and competitive tender submissions Support sales efforts by providing budgetary advice, pricing strategies, and value engineering suggestions Engage in tender clarification meetings and follow-ups as required 3. Budgeting & Cost Control Develop comprehensive budgetary quotations for corporate clients Monitor project costs against budgets to ensure financial targets are met Propose cost-saving solutions without compromising quality or client expectations 4. Supplier & Vendor Coordination Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment providers Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve best value for the company and clients Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new vendors 5. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with the Sales and Design teams to ensure alignment between cost planning, design intent, and client expectations Ensure all financial and resource requirements are clearly communicated and met across departments REQUIRED ABILITIES, SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE (ASK) Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or Building or its equivalent. Required language(s): English At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related commercial Interior Design or Renovation (not construction) field is required for this position.
