Associate R&D Performance Tester - IDC

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy's India Development Centre (IDC), an R&D organization that collaborates with global teams to build scalable and reliable digital solutions. In this role, you will focus on performance testing and engineering, ensuring applications are highly available, scalable, and reliable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to test, analyze, and improve system performance across multiple products. How you'll make an impact: To design, create, and maintain performance test plans for applications. Execute load testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, K6 To analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks To define performance objectives and workload profiles. To simulate system behavior under different load conditions Collaborate with development teams to improve scalability. Troubleshoot performance issues Provide performance reports with recommendations Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background: Required bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Must have total experience of 3-6 years in Performance Testing Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, SOAPUI Experience with Jira / Zephyr or similar tools. Knowledge of API testing and web systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exposure to Kubernetes / Azure DevOps (good to have). Basic knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL.
