Deliver the Difference with us: We are looking for a creative talent acquisition professional to join our high performing team, recruiting for a wide variety of roles for our US and Canadian divisions. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring and building the best possible talent pool of professionals of all levels. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources. Your Role & Impact: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social platforms, referrals, and direct outreach Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for key roles and future hiring needs Engage passive candidates and maintain relationships with prospects and past applicants Screen resumes and applications for suitability; conducting initial phone/video interviews Coach managers throughout the interview process Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to HR leadership Provide guidance on hiring best practices, market availability, and candidate expectations Promote employer brand through recruitment campaigns and social outreach Continuously evaluate and innovate the recruiting process Support documentation and audit readiness for hiring processes Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements impacting hiring practices Manage the applicant tracking system ensuring it is current and compliant What Makes you Stand Out: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 2-4 years of experience recruiting at all levels including operations, drivers, professional and management positions US & Canadian recruiting experience a strong asset Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workable, iCIMS, Taleo) Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment channels Strong stakeholder management and business partnership skills Excellent communication, interviewing, and candidate assessment capabilities Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage recruitment metrics High level of discretion and professionalism Why Join Upper Canada Forest Products?
