We're looking for a Territory Sales Manager to lead growth along Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware markets supporting our Surface & Siding Solutions business within Cornerstone Building Brands. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Own and Grow Your Territory: Manage and expand assigned accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities Drive Revenue: Prospect, qualify, and close sales to meet and exceed territory quotas Strengthen Customer Relationships: Serve as a trusted partner to customers, providing both pre- and post-sales support Develop New Opportunities: Generate leads, build pipeline, and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share Maximize Account Potential: Analyze market segments and customer needs to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts Execute Sales Strategy: Utilize structured call planning and territory management to stay organized and effective Present with Impact: Deliver customized sales presentations and participate in trade shows, promotions, and customer training events Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics to inform strategy Collaborate & Communicate: Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction Resolve Challenges: Address customer concerns proactively and develop solutions that strengthen long-term relationships Forecast & Report: Provide accurate sales forecasts, weekly updates, and maintain detailed account records What You Bring Proven success in territory or account management with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals Strong ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new business Excellent relationship-building and communication skills Ability to analyze market data and adjust strategy accordingly Experience delivering presentations and engaging customers in both formal and informal settings Highly organized with strong time management and territory planning skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with broader teams Work Environment & Travel Territory-based role covering Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern Jersey. Extensive travel required (up to 75%+) , including customer visits, job sites, and industry events High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of direct sales experience, ideally within the building products industry Strong understanding of dealer, distribution, and/or two-step sales channels (depending on brand) Proven ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and close deals effectively Familiarity with competitive products and market dynamics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with sales planning, budgeting, and T&E expense management Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed goals Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Extensive travel required (75%+) across the assigned territory Regular visits to active construction sites and new residential developments Frequent movement throughout outdoor job sites as part of client engagement Ability to work in varying environmental conditions typical of an outside sales role Occasional lifting of product samples and materials (up to 20 lbs) The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 -$85,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
