Role Description The Practice Manager is a working manager or manager of managers accountable for the overall performance of the practice and its team members. The role owns all aspects of delivery across operations and technology to ensure customer satisfaction and client satisfaction. This includes planning and managing work, empowering teams, monitoring progress, and acting as an escalation point for risks and issues. The Practice Manager defines measurable success indicators, drives a strong customer and client focus through trusted relationships, and builds a sustainable delivery model that enables the team to meet and exceed contractual performance standards. The role is responsible for creating and executing a resource strategy based on projected and actual demand and supply, while delivering against financial targets for the group. The incumbent leads client delivery, financial management, change management, risk management, stakeholder management, and quality initiatives. The role also has strong accountability for people and talent management-coaching and developing colleagues, managing performance and pay, improving engagement and retention, and building succession pipelines for key roles. Collaboration with peer managers and shared services is critical to ensure seamless client delivery.
