Responsibilities

  • Autonomously build electrical harness assemblies for aerospace and defense customers
  • Responsible for keeping the floor on track - provide technical and operational direction to team members to ensure quality standards and schedule are met.

  • What you'll bring to the team:
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification and 3+ years as a technician in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficient in reading complex wire harness schematics and determining proper order of operations & relevant techniques.
  • Knowledge of soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, contact insertion and removal, harness routing and strain relief techniques is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, work order management, and BOM structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and present key performance data to leadership.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods - 8 hours minimum
  • Bonus Points:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing production environment.
  • 1+ year of scheduling and task allocation experience.
  • Familiarity with IPC-620 or NASA STD 8739.4.
  • Has worked at a contract manufacturing company
