Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on GCP and partially on AWS .
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (mandatory) for cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and SaltStack .
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Manage Kubernetes environments (GKE / EKS), including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, compliance).
• Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to support production workloads.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues and support incident resolution.
• Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Experience: 6-10 Years
• Primary Cloud: GCP (70%)
• Secondary Cloud: AWS (30%)
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP (Compute, IAM, Networking, GKE, Monitoring).
• Working experience with AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, core services).
• Terraform - Mandatory
• Proven experience designing and managing IaC using Terraform.
• Terraform Certification - Mandatory (e.g., HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate).
• Strong experience with Ansible and SaltStack .
• Solid hands‑on experience with data dog, splunk etc
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Good understanding of cloud security concepts , IAM, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting production environments and on‑call operations.
