Terms of Employment: Full-time Department: Finance and Donor Care Reports to: Manager/ Director Overall Responsibilities: You will be assuming all-round finance and accounting responsibilities of the office, ensuring smooth operation and accurate and timely delivery of monthly and annual financial reports. You will be in charge of monthly and yearly budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and annual audit. Key areas of Responsibility Prepare and report Monthly/Quarterly Financial Statements for Board Meetings Present Monthly/Quarterly Budget for Board's review and approval Advise on finance matters as and when required - Audit, SOPs, etc Ensure Financial Schedules are prepared (includes audit schedules) before Audit starts Liaise with external auditors on audit requirements Liaise with HODs on Budget preparation and the required documentation Consolidate budget and submit for verification Monitoring of actual expenditure to ensure that purchases are within budget Review/submit Monthly Reports to the Director Verify and submit Grant Reports Any other duties as assigned by the Manager/Director Assist the Director to present quarterly reports to the Board
