WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS The Lead Business Consultant (DWH/BI/Reporting) is an experienced professional who forms part of our Consulting team, working within our Advanced Delivery Center. The primary purpose of this role is to act as a trusted advisor and direct delivery specialist in the success of designing, implementing, and improving Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Reporting solutions, including Qlik, within client environments. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Act as a trusted advisor, supporting our clients in the Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Reporting area. Facilitate requirements gathering workshops in both business and technical areas. Take part in modernizing the data platform so clients can benefit from a high-quality cloud experience for data warehouse and BI/reporting solutions. Design, implement, and test changes to the Data Warehouse model and ETL workflows. Work with data ingestion and extraction pipelines. Test and optimize processes and tools to meet performance and data quality requirements. Leverage project experience to estimate and plan delivery of a small team. Demonstrate growth as a subject matter expert (SME) for SimCorp products or technologies. Lead Qlik trainings and support knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams. Participate in the company knowledge-sharing culture, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to the improvement or creation of implementation standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server and Snowflake databases.
  • Understanding of database concepts and data modeling for analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure data stack preferred).
  • SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
  • Experience implementing QlikView/QlikSense .
  • Experience implementing other Business Intelligence and reporting solutions.
  • Experience delivering project work (as a member of project teams organized in agile or waterfall methodologies).
  • Comfortable with business requirements gathering and clarification, including direct work with business users.
  • Ability to coordinate small projects, workstreams, or work groups as a lead consultant.
  • Experience working as a consultant for external clients (prior experience in Consulting Services).
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financial instruments and markets, or experience working with financial data and business processes related to investment management.
  • Familiarity with Ms Fabric
