- Establish and maintain the project repository by controlling access to sensitive information and ensuring the latest document revisions are uploaded to the system in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain project document lists and document trees.
- Manage deliverable data products required by customer contracts and supplier subcontracts.
- Process System Test Reports (STRs) through AFRC CM tools, including downloading, converting, and attaching documents to STR records on the AFRC CM server.
- Maintain centralized CM action tracking systems and ensure consistent, up-to-date communication on CM status across all assigned projects.
- Manage records in accordance with AFRC records management and retention requirements.
- Provide monthly configuration and data management reports and metrics for each assigned project.

- Coordinate all project document releases and prepare data to support major project reviews, providing templates for documents and presentations.

Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a full-time, on-site Configuration and Data Management (C&DM) Analyst/Configuration Management Administrator (CMA) to support NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). The successful applicant will live within a reasonable commuting distance from NASA AFRC and be capable of supporting the contract in person. AFRC's Program and Projects Directorate (Code 300) leads and manages Center project and sub-project activities to advance technology and science through flight. The Business and Program Analysis Support Branch (Code 830) manages AFRC's project planning and control systems and tools in support of program and project activity. Code 300 is responsible for executing the Center's policies and guidelines for projects in a manner consistent with NASA Agency policy. The successful candidate will provide CM and data management support to the Project/Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and Operations Engineer by maintaining documentation to ensure accurate records of configured items are preserved throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will identify and document the functional and physical characteristics of configuration items, control configuration changes, and report configuration status for assigned platforms and projects at AFRC. This position serves as a key interface between multiple project teams, NASA customers, and supporting organizations, requiring strong communication, organizational, and technical skills. This is a full-time, on-site, in-person position; remote work is not offered. The successful applicant will live within a reasonable commuting distance from NASA AFRC and be capable of supporting the contract in person. No relocation funding is available. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. All personnel must be capable of effectively communicating in English to perform assigned duties.
