Summary/Objective This position works within the fabrication, inventory and material handling areas of the department Essential Functions - Will work on fabrication of stone, quartz or solid surface materials, depending upon business requirements - Responsible for sanding solid surface pieces with electric and air polishing tools as assigned - Loading and unloading of granite, marble, solid surfaces and quartz slabs with the use of forklifts and forklift attachments- adequate training will be provided - Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters, dust collectors, oiling of machinery, or other types of devices as assigned - Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment - Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives Competencies/Skills/Abilities - High School Diploma or GED required - Prior stone or solid surfaces fabrication experience preferred - Ability to multi-task and working within specified timeframes - Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment - Current Fork Life Certification required - Ability to problem-solve
