About the role

The Senior Manager, Logistics Network Strategy will own the strategic design and performance of Zipline's logistics network, including transportation, freight procurement, inventory flow design, asset recovery, and circular supply chain operations. Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize transportation flows between suppliers, factories, distribution centers, depots, and operational sites.
  • Lead carrier strategy, transportation procurement, freight sourcing, and logistics partnerships.
  • Develop network models to support expansion planning, inventory deployment, and service-level objectives.
  • Build logistics cost models and drive network optimization initiatives.
  • Establish transportation performance metrics and governance processes.
  • Own circular supply chain operations, including asset recovery, field returns, reusable packaging flows, and remanufacturing logistics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and reduce total landed cost across the network.
  • Partner with Finance to develop long-range logistics planning and investment strategies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for transportation, network analytics, and logistics strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in transportation, network design, supply chain strategy, or logistics leadership.
  • Deep understanding of transportation operations, carrier management, and freight procurement.
  • Experience designing and optimizing complex logistics networks.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable operational systems.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for solving complex logistics challenges at global scale.
