Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with a match starting Day 1!Paid Holidays and Paid Time OffProfessional onboarding and training optionsPowerful team looking forward to working with youCareer coaching and development opportunitiesThis role reports to the Production Supervisor, Manufacturing & Operations.This is an onsite, day shift role and will be part of our Sea-Bird Scientific Manufacturing & Operations Team in our Bellevue, WA location.In this role, a typical day will look like:Perform pre-assembly quality check on all componentsFollow detailed assembly instructions in a variety of formats (i.e., drawings, schematics, bills of material, internal procedures or some combination thereof), and report work completed, on a daily basisPerform quality checks on completed assemblies, as neededUnderstand and meet quality and delivery requirementsRecognize and report problems with quality, processes, equipment or materials to Production Lead, Supervisor or Operations ManagerProvide hands-on job function training to coworkers as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practicesParticipate in Kaizen EventsThe essential requirements of the job include:High school diploma or equivalentA minimum of 1 year of related work experienceIt would be an asset if you have:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong electro-mechanical skills (soldering, proper wire stripping and crimping techniques)Basic knowledge of necessary instruments and toolsWe anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time. We encourage your prompt application.US ONLY :The compensation range for this role is $25.00 - $29.00 USD per hour.
