MSS Security is seeking dedicated a Casual Security Officer to join our team at a hospital site located in Parkville. In this critical role, you will be responsible for site patrols, customer service and address security breaches, alarms and other incidents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor hospital premises to detect and respond to any security risks.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Manage access control and identification verification for all hospital areas.
• Collaborate with medical staff and law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist in resolving patient or visitor disputes in a calm and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Valid Victorian Security Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
• Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work a 24/7 rotational roster (12 hours shifts, days and nights)
• Prior hospital security experience is preferred.
• Master License Number: 409-987-30S
