Job Summary The Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist (CPI Specialist) manages clinical performance improvement and quality activites for the health system. This position interacts with physicians, administrative leaders,and other clinical staff and provides support and guidance to clinical improvement initiatives. This CPI Specialist is responsible for assisting the organization in adopting best practices to include alignment with the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. The position supports the Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) and Physician Peer Review process, prepares clinical performance reports for review by the Quality Committee of the Medical Executive Committee, Chiefs of Service and Medical Directors.
