About the role

You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, directing, coordinating, and executing contractual and procurement policy actions involved in supporting sophisticated and technologically advanced systems; 2) Conveying business-related information and formal presentations, orally and in writing to high-level government and industry officials; 3) Analyzing contractor proposals and developing corresponding negotiations; 4) Monitoring development and acquisition activities to promote and maintain maximum coordination and integration.
