About the role

Participates in company Quality Assurance initiatives, including record keeping, training and auditing. Answers DOL unemployment inquiries and completes verification of employment requests for employees. Assists with uniform assignments, exchanges, or reimbursements. Assists with the maintenance of uniform room cleanliness and inventory. Assists Human Resources Manager in the filing of FMLA requests and Workers' Compensation claims. Assists the Human Resources Manager with DOL unemployment inquiries. Completes verification of employment requests for employees. Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating. Conducts orientation for benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence, and employee assistance; SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. The Human Resources Specialist reports to the Human Resources Manager and is subject to supervision from the Human Resources Manager and the General Manager.
