About the role

GenInnov is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Business Development and Investor Relations functions. This is a hands-on role suited to undergraduates or recent graduates with a genuine interest in asset management, financial markets, and investor-facing work. The intern will work closely with the BD & IR team, gaining exposure to investor communications, fund materials production, CRM operations, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations Support
  • Assist in maintaining and updating investor records, contact databases, and CRM systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support the preparation and distribution of fund updates, performance reports, and investor correspondence
  • Help track investor pipeline activity and prepare summary reports for senior management review
  • Fund & Company Materials
  • Assist in drafting and formatting investor-facing materials including fund factsheets, company profiles, and presentation decks
  • Conduct market and peer research to support the team's preparation for investor meetings and due diligence responses
  • Ensure materials are well-organised, on-brand, and ready for compliance review prior to external distribution
  • Business Development & Onboarding
  • Support investor pre-onboarding and KYC/AML documentation collection under the guidance of the compliance and IR teams
  • Assist with research into prospective investors, family offices, and distribution channels as directed by the BD team
  • Help prepare briefing packs and logistics for investor meetings and events
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are strongly preferred
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Prior internship or coursework experience in finance, investment, or business development is an advantage; candidates with strong academic results and genuine interest in financial markets are encouraged to apply
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished presentation and professional demeanour
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design tools such as Canva is an advantage
  • Curious about generative AI and LLM tools; eager to leverage these in day-to-day workto improve quality and efficiency
