About the role
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES We are seeking an experienced Head of Strategic Implementation to lead enterprise-wide strategic change and deliver critical initiatives that shape the future of our asset management business. Strategy Execution & Transformation Partner with the Strategy and M&A team (and Executive Management Committee) totranslate strategic priorities into actionable deliverables within clear programme roadmapsincluding defining and tracking milestones, KPIs and financial costs/benefits. Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation initiatives to ensure enterpriseobjectives and regulatory requirements are met. Drive execution across multiple, interdependent workstreams including but not limited tobusiness (distribution, investments, product) enterprise infrastructure (technology,operations, data) and governance functions (human resources, finance, risk) 2. Program & Project Management Develop and implement the governance and reporting structure for the overall strategictransformation consisting of five strategic priorities/programmes: Strengthen theFoundation; People & Culture, Invest to Grow - Organic; Invest to Grow - M&A; CountryStrategies. Develop and oversee robust governance and reporting structures for each individual programme, including but not limited to reporting on milestones/KPIs/financials, risk management, regulatory compliance, and issue escalation. Plan, manage, and deliver complex projects using methodologies appropriate for asset management, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and change readiness across the organisation. Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, programme sponsors/leads and EMC on execution feasibility and sequencing, including escalations and resolutions to course correct against scope, timeline, budget, and benefits realisation. 3. Stakeholder & Change Leadership Partner closely with senior leadership, business heads, investment teams, operations, IT, risk, and compliance. Facilitate decision-making forums and steer committees to resolve dependencies and trade-offs. Support change management activities, including communication, training coordination, and adoption tracking. Ensure transformation initiatives align with industry best practices and evolving market and regulatory expectations. 4. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, operating models, and ways of working. Embed a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across project teams. KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 10+ years of project or program management experience, with significant exposure to asset management (traditional or alternatives) Proven track record leading business and/or digital transformation initiatives Experience delivering strategy execution programs across multiple functions Excellent project planning, governance, and risk management skills Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities Exposure to regulated financial services environments Ability to operate in ambiguity and manage competing priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset Proficiency with project management tools and reporting frameworks Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
