Within the Military Customer Support Organization, the Logistics Material & Fleet Manager will be deployed in Kuwait, reporting to the On-Site Customer Support Manager, for a period of 3 years minimum and will be responsible for assets logistic management (receipt, storage, packaging, import/export and shipment), assets accounting, consumption and stocks monitoring, material planning with the scope to meet the needs of the contracted KPIs. You will be responsible for satisfying Customer demands through the Availability Service and coordinate & control movements of returned assets thought Customer/Avio Aero/Military Consortium Partners Job Description Essential Responsibilities Define stock buffer requirements and review based on in- service experience Maintain records / monitors of deliveries and consumptions to allow management of assets and accurate database to support monitoring of contracted KPIs (including Attributable/Non- Attributable classification) Maintain Engines, Modules and (Line Replaceable Item) LRI's pool accounting Coordinate materiel replenishment demands with Avio Aero/Military Consortium Partner to maintain the agreed sufficiency stock levels (including preparation and submissions of Purchase Orders and Procurement Requests) Liaise with the responsible agencies/companies/departments to fulfill Export/Customs/International Trade Compliance obligations. Arrange and manage transportation of materiel Raise any discrepancy reports of received material and lead resolution with the supply- responsible Military Consortium Partner Monitor/Request preservation activities for materiel with shelf- life or repetitive checks when mandated Receive and fulfil Customer demands (exchange service) Coordinate & control movements of returned engine related items within Avio Aero/Military Consortium Partner Manage materiel disposal i.a.w. procedures Manage quarantine store Manage container/Special to Type Container (STC)s/frames exchange service Contribute to any necessary cost accounting aspects connected to the procurement of the materiel and service provided under the applicable contracts Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma/eight grade education with previous solid experience in multinational/multicultural environment Capable of Technical Reporting Familiarity with bespoke IT systems & tools (SAP, etc.) Strong understanding of Supply Chain design & processes and key drivers for spares pool optimization Knowledge of Fleet Management, modelling, forecasting and reporting Awareness of service availability and its balance with inventory and costs Deep knowledge of requirements related to receipt and dispatch of hardware, transportation, packaging, export control Fluent written and spoken Italian and English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Eligible for Kuwait Work Visa Eligible for NATO Security Clearance Desired Characteristics Previous experience in Export/Customs/International Trade Compliance Understanding of airworthiness/flight safety regulations and compliance Strong skill in problem solving Good knowledge of military propulsion systems, aerospace service and Customer operational needs Understanding of Technical Logbooks for consultation and analysis of parts data Understanding of contract commitments and implications on KPIs. Strong oral and written communication skills Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact Ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability
