We are currently looking for a Construction Design Coordinator in our residential site in Donabate, Dublin. Key Responsibilities and Duties Ensure design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales. Design information/package to be coordinated with the procurement programme. Coordinate design work with consultants and subcontractors Ensure design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales. Provide input into the preparation of the project programme Coordinate with other disciplines to assure compliance with project requirements, company standards and procedures, industry codes and standards, utility company requirements and client criteria. Prepare weekly and monthly look aheads in conjunction with the team Track progress against the project programmes in accordance with key milestones through coordination with all trades Coordinate specialist subcontractor design input and facilitate workshops to agree/establish timelines Manage the involvement of the design team input and approval process of the supply chain Develop relationships with design team and project stakeholders during early concept stages; manage expectations of the project through regular communication and discussions regarding requirements and specifications. Coordinate construction design team meetings and record minutes and issue to the team and follow up on actions Adhere to health and safety and environmental standards Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time Excellent communication and relationship building skills Strong IT skills and ability to translate technical details to a non-technical audience Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
