Operator - AM Shift

Requirements

• Experience with machine operation in a food processing environment
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Able to communicate effectively with teammates and leadership
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• 18 years of age or older
• Good attendance record required
• A positive attitude and willing to develop new skills
• Comfortable working around meat (handling using gloves, smells, etc).
• Comfortable working in the cold (4°C) and exposure to extreme temperatures (-10° to 30°C)
• Previous food industry experience including GMPs and basic food handling are assets

Day shift: start times varying between 5:00am and 6:00am, 9-hour shifts Monday to Friday with some overtime required on weekends. GRF operates in a cold, fast-paced, and physical environment. Applicants must be comfortable handling meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.) and must be comfortable with 10-40 pounds of repetitive lifting.
