Job Summary: Facilitates, organizes, and conducts training in support of partner development initiatives. Supports projects and initiatives through on-site and remote training and oversight. Communicates Company messages, initiatives, strategies, and training through store visits and email. SCOPE OF WORK Displays a list of typical duties and accountabilities. List is not based on order of priority. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides, supports, and observes training on Company initiatives through on-the-job training, classes, and workshops. Facilitates and teaches leadership, development, customer service, and human resources classes through industry-related educational courses. Maintains a close relationship with and communicates effectively to all departments to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of training initiatives. Supports retail store trainers by providing communication, information, and supplies for in-store training purposes. Creates training plans for both retail personnel and retail support leaders. Plans and conducts store trainer and other developmental workshops/training sessions. Coordinates and facilitates corporate on-boarding. Reviews and approves training time requests to ensure allotted training hours are used and partners meet necessary training requirements. Creates training documentation and materials for various Company training initiatives and projects. Reviews and updates existing training materials to ensure relevancy and that current processes are properly documented. SKILLS AND EDUCATION Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form. Ability to comprehend and interpret information. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes. Ability to reason, form concepts, and recognize and solve problems. Ability to frequently travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays. Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. May be required to drive in accordance with the BGC Driver policy. Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible. Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor. Education, Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Education and zero to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required. Minimum of 21 years of age required. Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
