Responsibilities
- Support the ALM and Risk functions through evaluating strategic/tactical proposals, performing sensitivity analysis, and supporting Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) related activities.
- Improve documentation, model governance, and model risk management for ALM models

- Undergrad actuarial student writing actuarial exams.

- Knowledge of GGY Axis and Excel
- Experience with Hyperion, Power BI and Microstrategy is desirable but not required

- Salary Range:
- $37,000 - $59,000
- The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.

Career Opportunity Role Title Actuarial COOP - ALM Team (8 Month Contract, Fall + Winter terms) Purpose of role As an actuarial Co-op in the ALM team, you will work closely with actuarial staff in a dynamic and challenging environment and is responsible for providing analytical support for the company's asset and liability management functions to measure and analyze risk profile. The incumbent will gain exposure across a wide range of actuarial disciplines including financial modeling, solvency requirements, valuation and management reporting, insurance/annuity products and fraternal benefits analysis for Canada, the U.S and U.K. He or she will gain experience working with comprehensive financial modelling systems that utilize a variety of actuarial, spreadsheet, database, and reporting software.
