About the role

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America's drone industrial base. Responsibilities

  • The Associate General Counsel, Product will serve as Neros' lead product lawyer. Working closely with the General Counsel and CTO, the AGC will guide all of Neros' interactions with the FCC, NTIA, FAA, and other regulatory stakeholders. The AGC will:
  • As Neros' principal product attorney, take a solution-oriented approach to supporting the most commercially viable products possible
  • Oversee Neros' ensure compliance with FTC, NTIA, and FAA regulations, as well as the NDAA and AI legislation
  • Serve as Neros' in-house expert on the laws governing radio spectrum usage
  • Work with the Export Control Officer (ECO) in the ECO's oversight of ITAR compliance
  • Administer Neros' IP portfolio
  • You should have the following
  • JD and membership in a state bar or the District of Columbia bar
  • At least 8 years of experience in government, big-law, or a combination, working on radio spectrum issues
  • Experience advising defense technology companies
  • A practical, solution-oriented approach to practicing law
  • An ability to translate legal concepts to non-lawyer audiences
  • An ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • A desire to stock the arsenal of democracy and defend the West

Requirements

  • A prior role at the FCC, FAA, NTIA, or a DoW office with spectrum stakeholder status
  • In-house startup experience
  • Team sports experience
  • US Salary Range
  • $150,000 - $220,000+
