Responsibilities

  • As a Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring architectural correctness, functional robustness, and power‑efficient performance of Intel's Atom CPU designs before first silicon.

Requirements

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience. OR a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Your experience listed above must be in the following:
  • Design Verification methodologies using SystemVerilog, UVM, and industry‑standard EDA tools
  • Pre‑silicon verification of CPU, SoC, or complex IP designs
  • Strong debugging skills with SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Linux‑based simulation environments
  • Experience with Python or Perl scripting for automation and verification efficiency
  • Exposure to RTL development and close interaction with design teams
  • Understanding of CPU microarchitecture and computer architecture concepts
  • Experience with system boot flows, power management, and low‑power features
  • Familiarity with power/performance verification flows, including frequency, voltage, and low‑power state transitions
