Responsibilities

  • Assist to plan, implement and manage SCCC's programmes including establishing project timelines, monitoring project progress, allocating and monitoring budget, procuring goods and services, overseeing logistical arrangements and other programmes related duties.
  • Work closely with various SCCC teams (including Operations and Estates teams for venue use and production/event requirements, and Corporate Communications team for publicity and marketing plans) to ensure the successful implementation of SCCC's programmes.
  • Assist in liaising, communicating and coordinating with vendors, partners, local artistes, and arts and cultural groups to organise SCCCprogrammes.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of information and documents as well as data collation of participation figures, ticketing sales, feedback and survey results for assigned projects.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties, such as taking minutes of meeting, data collation and maintaining of databases etc., as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • A diploma in Arts Management, Humanities, Chinese Studies or Communications;
  • Minimum of at least 1 year ofrelevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, and/or programme and events management. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin,with strong proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translation of text into Mandarin;
  • Has passion and strong interest in Chinese arts, culture and heritage;
  • Experience in managing stakeholders would be preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience in working with youths, young parents and/or seniors would be an advantage;
  • Meticulous, good with details, resourceful, fast-learner, able to multi-task and handle various aspects of project/programmes management;
  • Good interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good time and project management skills;
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player;
  • Willing to work on weekday evenings and weekends, if required, especially for our physical events such as festivals, performances, concerts, conferences, and workshops ( Note : Days off-in-lieu will be provided accordingly); and
  • Singaporean/Singapore PR only.
