Requirements

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our 250+ person Product & Engineering organization at Smartly. Our engineering team builds the systems that power creative automation for some of the world's largest brands. As a backend engineer, you'll design and build robust services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our product end-to-end. You'll work on challenges around scalability, performance, and reliability, ensuring our systems can handle large volumes of data and complex workflows with ease. You'll collaborate closely with frontend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features that our customers will genuinely love and depend on. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will: Have end-to-end ownership of a new platform integration Design, build and monitor data-intensive microservices systems Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients Take part and facilitate team activities such as dailies, retros and brainstorming sessions Coach and mentor other members of the team to follow best practices and industry standards
