This position is part of ZF's ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. What you can look forward to as a Sr. Commodity Buyer Electronic Modules / EMS (f/m/d): * Manage and negotiate purchasing price for a commodity and/or a defined set of suppliers within a commodity. * Define respective strategy and review sources and bundling opportunities for cost-saving methods and opportunities; achieve the target cost established by the business unit for the commodity while adhering to established sourcing process. * Analyze assigned market to prepare and recommend strategic suppliers. * Support and define the development of and ensure the adherence to part family strategies. * Strong ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. * Participate in continuous improvement programs to promote team efforts. Your profile as a Sr. Commodity Buyer Electronic Modules / EMS (f/m/d): * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field. * 3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.). * Experience with supplier analysis and evaluation (i.e. quality, capacity, cost, etc.). * Strong background with supplier bidding process and complex negotiations. * Experience with APQP and/or project management tools and methods. * Fluent in English.
