Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end (E2E), integration, and API testing frameworks from scratch.

  • Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • Senior-level experience as an SDET or Test Automation Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or Puppeteer.
  • Extensive experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs, including authentication and authorization flows.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and test data management.
  • Proven ability to design and build testing frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience working independently in remote, async-first environments.
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Experience testing AI/LLM applications, including prompt evaluation, hallucination detection, retrieval accuracy validation, agent workflow testing, and RAG systems.
  • Familiarity with LangSmith, Braintrust, or custom AI evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Fastify, Hono, or Express.
  • Knowledge of observability, production monitoring, and quality metrics.
  • Experience validating dynamically generated assets such as PDFs.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
  • Experience integrating or testing Slack APIs, PostHog, and Metabase.
  • Product-minded approach with a strong focus on user experience and software
