Be part of shaping the E-mobility of the future! To reach our goal, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Backend Team. At Qwello, you will architect, design, and implement new backend services (typically in Rust and Python) to support our growing fleet of self-designed/built charging stations being deployed across Europe. You will also design and implement backend-to-backend systems connecting the Qwello systems with the services of Qwello's partners. Reliability and craftsmanship are important to you, so you design with automatic testability, resilience, introspection & observability in mind. Security is important to you. You are an efficient engineer, focused on the fast execution of your craft. You are a good communicator, a free thinker, have an inquisitive mindset, and an eye for detail. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with your colleagues and mentoring junior team members. You are comfortable working in a startup, collaborating in an interdisciplinary team, and willing to contribute, with your skills, experience, and enthusiasm, to help us build a successful business.
