About the team and the role The Aviation Commercial Manager sits within the Aviation Growth and Group Strategy team at Sydney Airport and plays a key role in shaping the future revenue trajectory of the organisation. This role works closely with the Aviation Commercial Senior Manager to drive commercial outcomes across airline partnerships, pricing strategy, and long-term revenue optimisation. This position contributes directly to revenue optimisation and passenger growth by developing pricing strategies, supporting airline negotiations, and managing commercial agreements. The role also drives performance of the fuel business and acts as a key contributor to strategic decision-making through data-led insights and commercial analysis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to... Lead the development of pricing strategies and commercial deal structures across airline partners Drive business case development and strategic recommendations for major commercial initiatives Support and influence complex airline negotiations through financial modelling and scenario analysis Own and manage the aeronautical pricing book across a significant revenue portfolio Oversee performance and obligations of airline agreements and commercial contracts Deliver high-quality presentations and materials for senior leadership and governance forums Contribute to the commercial strategy and performance of the fuel business About you Bring significant experience (typically 9+ years) within investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable commercial environment Aviation and/or infrastructure experience beneficial Demonstrate strong experience developing business cases and delivering strategic recommendations Apply advanced financial modelling skills to support complex commercial decision-making Communicate confidently with experience presenting to senior stakeholders or executive audiences Show strong deal orientation with exposure to negotiations or transaction-style environments Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-impact setting Collaborate effectively while influencing across diverse stakeholder groups
