About the role

Abilene Christian University Dallas is seeking a visionary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the redesign of our online Art curriculum.   • Multimedia Collaboration: Work with instructional designers to select or create engaging digital resources, such as video demonstrations and interactive galleries.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all course materials align with ACU's mission and meet rigorous accreditation requirements.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Academic Excellence: Master of Fine Arts (MFA), or Doctorate in Art History, or a closely related field.
  • Instructional Experience: A proven track record of teaching at the collegiate level.
  • Digital Proficiency: Direct experience teaching in an online environment (LMS experience like Canvas is preferred).
  • Faith Alignment: A committed, practicing Christian who is an active member of a local church and is passionate about the intersection of faith and the arts.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum development or course design.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex artistic theories to a diverse student body.
  • Knowledge of contemporary trends in the global art market and digital media.
