Marshall Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• D aily Activities
• Conduct start-of-shift quality checks and review production schedules.
• Perform line audits to ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards.
• Monitor in-process inspections and verify critical dimensions/specifications.
• Address quality alerts and resolve issues promptly with production teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection results and nonconformances.
• Verify calibration status of measurement tools and equipment.
• Communicate quality updates during daily production meetings.
• Weekly Activities
• Review scrap and rework reports ; identify trends and root causes.
• Conduct layered process audits (LPA) or internal audits.
• Update and maintain quality control plans and inspection sheets.
• Provide training and refreshers for operators on quality standards.
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) progress.
• Prepare weekly quality performance reports for management.
• Monthly Activities
• Analyze customer complaints and returns ; implement corrective actions.
• Review Right the First Time ( RTFT ) and other KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings for process improvement projects.
• Validate new product launches or process changes for compliance.
• Conduct safety and quality awareness sessions for the team.
• Continuous Responsibilities
• Ensure ISO compliance on the shop floor.
• Drive root cause analysis for recurring issues using tools like 8D or Fishbone.
• Support engineering and maintenance in resolving quality-related equipment issues.
• Promote a culture of quality and accountability among operators.
• Maintain visual management boards for quality metrics on the floor.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing cables. (ISO 9001 )
• Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D, Root Cause Analysis )
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Technical: Familiarity with measurement tools, inspection techniques, and statistical analysis.
