About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support our innovative infectious diseases portfolio. This role will focus on Key External Expert (KEE/KOL) engagement and the execution of medical strategy, supporting the launch and lifecycle of a groundbreaking therapy in specialty care. Role and Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong relationships with KEEs, HCPs, and relevant stakeholders, delivering balanced and evidence-based scientific information. Gather actionable medical insights to inform and shape local and regional medical strategy. Provide scientific and medical guidance across cross-functional teams (e.g. Commercial, Market Access). Conduct research on healthcare systems, clinical guidelines, and treatment pathways to support product launches. Perform in-depth bibliographic research and attend congresses; prepare insights reports and competitor analyses. Develop and deliver high-quality scientific presentations to internal and external audiences (HCPs, non-HCPs, and patient groups). Participate in and support expert meetings and speaker training initiatives. Lead and support regional implementation of clinical studies (IITs, NIS, registries). Ensure all medical activities comply with internal SOPs, regulatory standards, and applicable legislation.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Based in Madrid, with flexibility to cover assigned territory.
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Pharmacy (PhD preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
  • Experience in infectious diseases, antifungal therapies, intensive care, or haemato-oncology is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (nationally and internationally).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in scientific exchange.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and resilient with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in standard IT tools, especially MS Office (PowerPoint).
