Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Company's business development strategy.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the Company's market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Lead business negotiations, contract discussions, and commercial proposals.
• Prepare tender strategies and coordinate business development activities.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with the engineering, project management, procurement, and commercial teams to support project acquisition.
• Establish strategic partnerships to strengthen the Company's competitiveness.
• Represent the Company in meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Prepare business development reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the business development team to achieve business targets.

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of business development experience, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's construction market and procurement practices.
• Experience in government and private sector projects is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
