We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Assist with daily staff allocation, rotas, and managing safe staffing levels and skill mix across the unit. Work clinically as part of the rota, providing expert oversight and supporting the nursing team during shifts. Ensure the unit operates safely, efficiently, and effectively, upholding high standards of patient care at all times. Contribute to audits, incident reporting, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Provide supervision, mentorship, and appraisal support to nursing staff and junior leaders. Support the implementation of service improvements, innovation, and operational changes. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration. Significant experience in a ward, inpatient, or critical care nursing environment. Prior leadership or supervisory experience. Good understanding of governance, patient safety, and ward/critical care protocols. Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
