Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end administration of industry and research agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), Research Collaboration Agreements, Project Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and contract variations.
- Prepare and process agreement documentation using approved templates, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with institutional requirements.
- Coordinate internal review and approval workflows with key stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, technology transfer, and research administration offices.
- Liaise with faculty, schools, central administrative units, and external partners to facilitate timely contract review, negotiation, issue resolution, and execution.
- Maintain accurate project and agreement records within research management systems, supporting post-award administration and compliance requirements.
- Assist with contract amendments, extensions, and project close-out activities in accordance with approved terms and institutional guidelines.
- Monitor agreement progress through tracking systems and reporting mechanisms, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding actions and deadlines.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, process documentation, and administrative controls related to research agreement management.
- Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and other assignments as required by the Office.
- Job Requirements:
- Minimum a degree in engineering, business, law, public policy, administration or any related fields
- Prior exposure in research administration, agreements, grants, contracts or compliance related work would be an advantage
