Warehouse Operations Manager (3PL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous business improvement. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, managing teams, overseeing P&L, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations to achieve operational KPIs and service excellence.
• Monitor and analyse operational P&L, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
• Plan, organise, and optimise operational resources to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
• Build, lead, coach, and develop high-performing operations teams through regular performance reviews, training, and development.
• Foster strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are consistently met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and Lean warehousing practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Oversee quality management systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor customer service, cost, quality, and supplier performance metrics, taking corrective actions where required.
• Support the implementation of new operational strategies and business initiatives to meet evolving business needs.
• Maintain a safe and productive working environment while promoting employee engagement and accountability.

Requirements

• NITEC, Diploma, or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, including people management responsibilities.
• Experience managing operational performance, KPIs, budgets, and P&L.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, continuous improvement methodologies, and Lean principles will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
